"Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes."
In April, we realized we made a BIG mistake. We failed to collect sales tax on our Amazon sales over the past nine months! I ASSumed Amazon did that for us. Well, it doesn't. So, we immediately registered for a Kansas Retailers’ Sales Tax Registration Certificate and got to work reviewing the thousands of orders to resolve the error. My wonderful husband, Randy, had to continually remind me to be grateful that we caught the mistake when we did. I just wish we caught it sooner.
Most days, the kids are able to help with the responsibility of filling orders. However, on some hectic mornings when we sleep in or the kids have homework to finish up, I find myself filling the orders after the kids leave for school. I feel so much gratitude as I package each order. I often mentally thank each person as I fill their order, sometimes taking time to write a personal thank you note on the packing slip. These customers are helping make Kyler's dream a reality. I am so grateful for each and every one.

The first 1,000 Comfy Cups sold on Amazon in five months. We were thrilled to read reviews and testimonies from kids and parents all over the United States who loved the Comfy Cup. We felt blessed to live a life where we could leverage our unique creative talents and love of sports to make life better and playing contact sports more enjoyable for young boys.
Filling Comfy Cup orders became part of the routine before school and after dinner. Every member of our family helped fill orders...including Kyler's Grandma and Grandpa, Bebe and Bumpy, who helped Kyler manage the business while his d...
